Indonesia is a hot spot for Indigo Children. Probably because of the spiritual energy there, but also because of the awareness brought to us by a reality TV show. The show itself is rather exploitative of Indigo Children focusing on the shock value of our gifts. However, I've met some amazing people due to its popularity. One of them is Indigo Child Ghea Orleana. She is quick to remind us that the true value of the Indigo Child is the great work we're here to do, not the X-Men style ways we use to get it done.
Why do you think Indigo Children are here?
go: I think Indigo Children are here because the earth needs us. I don’t know why the earth needs us, but somehow I can feel it and we are here to make a good change to the earth.
How did you discover you are an Indigo Child?
go: How did I discover myself as an Indigo Child? I don’t know, I just feel it because I have a really different way of thinking. Everyone says I have an old soul that doesn’t fit with my age. I feel like an alien everywhere I am because I never feel comfortable being here with all these people. I can do a lot of things that most people can’t do. I can see astral projection. Sometimes I can predict what will happen to people around me. I can even call the rain if I want.
Do you know other Indigo Children?
go: Yes, I know a few Indigo Children. I know Abby, she’s the most wonderful Indigo Child I know. I have a bestie and she’s is an Indigo Child too. We shared everything but, one day, another Indigo friend came among us. I don’t know what she said to my bestie, but suddenly my bestie didn’t trust me anymore. Then she left me. But I’m sure someday she will come back to me because all Indigo Children are sisters.
What is your favorite part about being an Indigo Child?
go: I love every part of it, because this is a gift. But the best part is when I call the rain to comfort my day or to calm me down when I’m on fire or I’m angry. Because when I’m angry, I could destruct something unconsciously.
What is the hardest part?
go: The hardest part is a lot of people think I’m crazy, a freak, or that I’ve lost my mind. But I’m still proud of what I am and I don’t care what they say about me. I hate when I can’t control my power or my anger. Another hard part is when I can hear another person’s thoughts. I hear and I know that they are suffering and need help, but I can do nothing because they didn’t ask for help from me. It is harder when that person is someone that is close to me. I think that’s all, because I love being an Indigo Child.
What Indigo gifts do you practice?
go: I have no specific practice, but I’m planning to practice my healing abilities because I want to help others with this gift.
Do you know what your purpose is yet?
go: I don’t know my purpose yet, but I believe that I am here to make a change. I’m here to help the earth and the people here. I’m here to spread my light and light the world.
What advice do you have for other Indigo Children?
go: My advice for other Indigo Children is to use your power to do good things, not the bad ones. Maybe some of you Indigo Children think that this is a curse, but no, this is a gift. Remember who you are, accept who you are, and you'll know why you were born with this gift.
What advice do you have for people who are not Indigo Children?
go: I have a lot of advice for them but the most important is to stop being so selfish. We are here to make peace- not a war, to love each other- not to hurt each other. The earth needs us.
Thank you, Ghea!
